All In: to bet all of your chips

Bad Beat: the odds are strong in your favour but you lose the pot.

Blinds: to be posted by the two players after the button to ensure every hand there is a pot.

Bubble: the time just before the paid places.

Button: this indicates the dealers position on the table.

Flop: The first three of the community cards to be dealt.

Gut Shot: four of the five cards to make a straight and a middle card is needed.

Heads Up: one on one play, normally at the final table.

Kicker: the highest card incase of tie break or no matching hand.

Muck: to fold a hand that has not been showed.

Nuts: the best possible hand at that moment in time.

River: the last of the five community cards to be dealt.

Tilt: a player who is emotionally upset due to a loss in a previous hand and allows this to effect there game.

Turn: the forth of the community cards to be dealt.
